We had to read it in high school, and it was one of the books that I actually enjoyed reading. Like many books, it is slow to start, though. Sometimes it's hard to get into a book that doesn't reel you in right from the beginning. I do prefer the ones that suck you in from the first page. But give it another try, sometime!
